Do I need a license to operate the boats?

No license of any sort is required to operate our boats, it is necessary to be at least 16 years of age.

Are the boats equipped with sun shade and life jackets?

Yes, each boat is equipped with an awning / sunshade and life jackets, also with a ladder and anchor so you can stop and swim in the most beautiful waters the Islands have to offer

We will deliver the boat to the port of your arrival, it does not matter which island you dock. For any questions write to us and we will provide you with all the information

I've never driven a boat before, is it easy?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it's quite simple and you don't need previous experience to operate our boats. Our staff made up of local people (Tremisi) with a lot of experience of the place will give you a short briefing where the directions and operation of the boat will be explained.

Where are you located? San Domino or San Nicola

Accepted Answer

We are on both islands so it doesn't matter if you want to rent the boat. We deliver the boat to you where it is most convenient for you and at the end of the day we leave you on the island of your choice.

Question 7

I have booked and paid for my boat, what happens in case of bad weather?

Accepted Answer

You will be refunded due to bad weather if you cannot go out safely. Once you have made the decision to leave with the boat it is no longer possible to be refunded if you change your mind during the rental.

Can I bring animals on board?

Accepted Answer

Depends. We usually prefer not to. There may be exceptions with small dogs with short hair. During booking you are advised to declare if you intend to bring dogs/animals on board to avoid the booking being canceled on the day of rental.

What do i need to bring for a day of  boating at the Tremiti Islands?

Accepted Answer

The essential:
 Beach towel, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat

Extra useful things: 
Cooler bag, rock shoes, mask and mug, waterproof phone bag, wallet. There are bars and restaurants on the harbor if you need drinks and food.

If I rent a boat, can I have a break on land and then use the boat again?

Accepted Answer

Of course you can make stops and pick up the boat whenever you want, always within the rental time slot. In fact, we recommend everyone to visit the historic center of San Nicola during their visit to the Tremiti  For any stop in the port you must notify us and we will show you where to moor. It is forbidden to enter and moor in the ports alone without notifying the staff.

Where do I go and what to do at the end of the boat rental?

During the briefing at the start of the rental our staff will provide clear instructions on where to return the boats at the end of your day.

Posso raccogliere e mangiare i ricci a bordo?

Accepted Answer

E' severamente vietato avere ricci a bordo le imbarcazioni. Infrazione di questa regola risulterà nel termine del noleggio senza rimborso.

La raccolta di ricci in Puglia è proibita per i prossimi tre anni, quindi fino al' estate 2026.

Di need to sign a contract before renting a boat or dinghy?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it is important that you fill out a rental contract before you operate the boat on your own accord. The contract must be kept safe and dry until your rental is finished. In case of inspection from local authorities the rental contract may be asked of you.
